About Us
In 1991 Paul Jennings and his sons started Veterans Garage Door with two employees on South Treadaway Blvd. in Abilene. The company was named Veterans because of the high value the owners placed on military service. Mr. Jennings served in the U.S. Air Force, 1956-1977, including combat in Vietnam. In 2002 Veterans Garage Door moved to its current location on Ben Richey Drive to accommodate the growing business, and current owner Kirk Brown bought the company soon after the move. For nearly 30 years, our company has specialized in garage doors in Abilene, Texas, and garage door repair in Abilene, Texas, and throughout the area.
